area of operations
Woronora Bushfire Brigade is located in Sutherland Shire, a southern suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
Being a totally water based brigade with boats, our area of operation covers the Georges River and Botany Bay from Sandy Point to Kurnell, and Port Hacking and the Hacking River from Audley to Bundeena.
Our fire station has two boat ramps located on the Woronora River, and we use a heavy 4x4 truck to tow boats to the Port Hacking waterway if required.
